COMMON ORDINANCE FOR ‘ADD-ON COURSES'
|
The Certificate/ Diploma/ Advanced Diploma course is open to regular student of
college at any level.
Duration: Each course will be of one academic year.
Add-on Course will be in three phases: (a) Certificate (b) Diploma (c) Advanced
Diploma

Certificate Course
|
Eligibility : She must be a regular student of TDC Part-I (any stream) in the affiliated
college concerned in the regular stream of this university.
Scheme of Study: the course will be of 30 credits and each credit will have 15 hours
of workload out of which 10 credits should necessarily be assigned to field work/
project work/ training.

Diploma Course
|
Eligibility : Students who have passed TDC Part-I (any stream)
along with certificate course in the concerned 'Add On' subject from this university
are eligible to take admission for Diploma Course along with TDC Part-II in the
affiliated college concerned in the regular stream of this university.
Scheme of Study: The course will be of 60 credits (30 credits earned
during certificate course) each credit will have 15 hours of workload, out of this
10 credits should be necessarily assigned to field work/ project work/ training.

Advanced Diploma Course
|
Eligibility : As such students who have passed TDC Part-II (any
stream) along with Diploma Course in the 'Add On' subject of this university are
eligible for Advanced Diploma Course along with TDC Part-III in the college concerned
in regular stream of this university.
Scheme of Study: The course will be 90 credits (60 credits earned
during Certificate & Diploma Course) out of this 10 credits should be necessarily
assigned to field work/ project work/ training.

SCHEME OF INSTRUCTION-EXAMINATION-QUALIFYING MARKS
|
75% attendance in the theory and practical separately is necessary for eligibility
to appear in examinations. The min. pass percentage will be 35%. No compartment
cases will be entertained. House Test will be conducted as per GNDU norms. Certificate/
Diploma/ Advanced Diploma in Career Oriented Programmes will be awarded. The other
ordinances shall be the same as other degree courses.
